Powerful Inventory Management

   We realize that having accurate, up-to-date information about inventory is, perhaps, the most important factor in running a profitable, efficient store. That’s why we designed the Odin POS to be a full-featured inventory management system, capable of handling all of your tracking and reporting needs.

   For instance, items can be selected from inventory in seven different ways from the main inventory screen. Information about a particular item is always readily available. The system can even select all books for a given course by scanning a single bar code!

   Each item in inventory is stored with complete product information— which is available on the screen each time a sale is being processed. And stock levels are updated with the completion of each sale.

   The Odin POS makes reordering products a snap. The system tracks inventory levels against predefined reorder points. When the need to reorder arises, the system will flag the item and a purchase order can be generated automatically.

   Information is power. But it does you no good if you can’t get the information in a format that you can use. The Odin POS reporting module is very flexible and provides many options to match even the most demanding of your reporting requirements.

• Generate numerous reports in summary form or with full sales detail.

   The types of reports that can be generated include:

• Sales and tax receipts by customer, type of payment and General Ledger account
  
• Inventory reports by inventory department, vendor, by adjustments and price history

• Account balances – select all or a subset of accounts of report balances
  
• Customer reports by student spending, department, faculty/staff
  
• Rosters

   The system tracks and prints reports for single vendors and gives quantities. In addition, custom reports can be created. Data can also be downloaded for use with other reporting programs or spreadsheets (e.g. Excel). The Odin POS is designed to track and report sales in several different ways, and simplify how you retrieve information. For instance, with a single key press, the entire sales history for a particular customer can be located and printed.
